Born in Pine Bluff - Arkansas and raised in Arkansas and Texas, Jesse Lee Davis apparently came to Germany in
the mid 80’s with the US army just like other American artists like Captain Hollywood, Captain Jack, Snap,
Haddaway, Culture Beat, Terence Trent D’Arby and Sydney Youngblood.
A multi performer and a very likable person with multi talents who instead of drilling and fighting in a battlefield
showed his talent and had a perfect time being a singing soldier entertaining his buddies and officers.
It was late 1991 when Jesse got his first hit attention with the Prophecy-Team producers which grew to three hit
songs like “Get Up On This”, “Round And Round”, and of course “Is This Love” made number one in several
countries including France, Australia, Spain and other 40 Principles and Spanish countries across the world.
His first single, “Get Up On This” (1992), released in 1991 under the BMG was produced by Avenue. His real
debut single “Is This Love” (1992), written, composed by Jesse Lee Davis and produced by the Prophecy-Team
under the DANCE POOL label Germany that quickly gained attention and became a chart topper in Israel and
Canada. The follow-up single “Round And Round” (1993) repeated the success story in Israel.

It was a busy and turbulent period of Jesse. While the one song was number one in Israel, the other one was on
German charts. He worked under major label like Sony and Polygram Polydor. His name appeared also in Berlin
Babelsberg Film Orchestra writing Film Music and his the bass singer of THE MAGIC PLATTERS!
Most of his old hits were remixed in 2010 with DJ Lopez and he later tour with DJ Chuckie for the LATINO
AMERICAN TOUR 2010.
Jesse is now performing, working on numerous projects around Europe and his new album slated for mid Summer
2011 release.
